The Fluir Pelvic Health Festival is an event conceived by the Fluir Institute and is in its second edition. In 2021, it took place remotely and in 2023 it will be part of the International Symposium on Nursing in Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions (SIEDAP) with in-person activities in a public place with a large circulation of people.
The event takes place in allusion to World Urinary Incontinence Awareness Day and has the following objectives:
Raise awareness among the population that Urinary Incontinence is a common problem (affecting around 30% of the population at different stages of life) and that no urine leakage is normal and needs to be treated;
Guide the population regarding simple behavioral changes that help prevent and treat Urinary Incontinence;
Raise awareness among the population about the importance of Systemic Health (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual) as a way of taking care of Pelvic Health and General Health, through guidance on simple techniques for controlling anxiety and energy balance;
Enable professionals working at SIEDAP to implement themes discussed at the symposium, through individual guidance to people seeking help throughout the Festival.

Join this event:
The Festival will take place on Sunday morning, from 10 am to 1 pm, with an awareness walk along Paulista Avenue. The event will be supported by the USP School of Nursing Drums and the participation of congress participants. During the walk, pedestrians will be approached with the aim of offering guidance on pelvic health.
Know which Orientation Tents will have on the day:
If you are a congress participant and have chosen to participate in person, see which topic you would like to address on the day. You will practice everything you learned during SIEDAP and still have the chance to make a difference in someone's life. Participate!
People walking through the park will receive a map of the tents with the themes and will be able to choose which ones they want to go through, in the chosen order, having the opportunity to go through all of them, if they so wish. In addition to group guidance, volunteer nurses, SIEDAP participants, will be spread around the event venue with T-shirts and nameplates, available to provide individual guidance to people who are interested in deepening an issue discussed in the tents or answering questions.
In each tent, a leaflet will be provided with the main points addressed.

The Festival will only happen if you are part of it with us!
Participate and join this fight against pelvic dysfunctions with us. So that no one else suffers from any pelvic dysfunction due to lack of information! We wait for you!

Oh remember, to participate you have to be in person with us! It will be great to spend the afternoon with you in a park, doing what we love!
